I went to Scotland for the first time
on May 2001. I went with
my husband Davide and we were on honeymoon. It was terribly
cold and Davide hates cold!I love rain, fog, cold and snow
so Scotland is perfect for me! Unfortunately we stayed there
only three days the happiest of my life and I promised to
myself to come back there as soon as possible. We visited
Mary King's close a haunted place in Scottish opinion. This
was the most interesting place in Edimburgh because is
strange and terrifying. There was a room full of dolls,
peluches and pence because a Chinese girl reported that
she saw there a child ghost who asked for toys and food. We
threw our penny on the floor as a present and a promise to
come back to Edimburgh. If you want visit a wonderful place
go to Scotland!

I'm interested in attending the Military Tatoo in August,
2000. Anyone have any suggestions from previous years? I will be in Scotland the 1st week,
following 2 weeks in Ireland and England.

I was in Edinburgh,
Scotland for 3 weeks in May 1999. Highly recommended are the new Museum of Scotland,
Botanic gardens and the Royal Yacht Brittania. People friendly and I enjoyed my stay so
much I am returning next year to visit other parts of Scotland

Totally agree the
Scottish Museum was excellent and very cheap for what you got to see. All the people were
very friendly and helpful. We spent seven days in Edinburgh. The view from Princes Street
was spectacular looking at all the different shapes of the old buildings what a picture!
Would love to go back again - already planning another visit at the beginning of next
year!
