Boats & Ferries

Most ferries in Western Scotland are operated by Caledonian MacBrayne. They sail to 22 islands off the West Coast and in the Firth of Clyde most of them carry vehicles as well as passengers and have special tickets for multiple journeys (Island Hopscotch and Island Rover tickets). A reduced service operates mid-October to Easter. Vehicle reservations are advised, particularly at peak times.
