Route Summary

A bridge crosses the river above Barrisdale to a path which in turn crosses the saltings to meet a stalker's path below Creag Bheithe.  Follow this path up zigzags, round the nose of Creag Bheithe and through some woodland into Coire Dhorrcail.  Cross the Allt Coire Dhorrcail and climb grassy slopes West to the ridge of Druim a' Choire Odhair.  Follow this narrowing ridge to the crest of Stob a' Choire Odhair, then on to the summit ridge of Ladhar Bheinn.   A cairn at this point is often mistaken for the summit, but the true summit lies a few hundred metres to the west.  To complicate matters further on OS trig point lies at the West end of the ridge.  The best descent lies South East, over the ridges above Coire Dhorrcail and Coire na Cabaig, over Aonach Sgoilte and down the East ridge to marn Barrisdale.
