Route Summary

Leave the Elgol road at the Allt na Dunaiche just south of the head of Loch Slapin on it's west side. Take the path that runs alongside the north bank of the stream through a wooded gorge, and then more steeply into Coire Uaigneich. here the path becomes indistinct in places, but turns north,north-west up a steep slope just right of an obvious gully and soon reaches a distinct shoulder. Once this shoulder abuts on to the main ridge follow the rim of the ridge. As you climb closer to the summit dome there are one or two rocky obstacles to be scrambled over before more scree slopes lead to the summit
