This is a fine example of a recumbent stone circle which dates from about 4000 BC.  The entrance to the ring is marked by a massive horizontal stone, flanked by two tall portal stones. A distinction can be made between the granite of the entry stones and the pinkish porphyry of the remaining boulders.
