Achnacone farm is
situated in unspoilt agricultural land surrounded by mountains ans nestled between hills
and lochs and the towns of Oban and Fort William. From this position the views are
spectacular over Loch Linnhe and surrounding hills. The farm house was
built some 125 years ago, naturally there have been some improvements (central heating)
since its consruction. The rustic scottish character has been maintained during its
improvements. We have around 600 breeding blackface ewes along with some pure and
cross texel sheep. We also run some 40 head of simmental cross suckler cows on 2000
acres. we also offer sheepdog training vacations along with farm holidays.
