Standing in over 4
acres of secluded gardens and mature woodland, Trigony started life as the shooting lodge
for Closeburn Castle. Built of warm pink sandstone, it nestles in the picturesque
Nithsdale Valley, surrounded by rolling hills at the heart of Burns Country.
The Restaurant has an established
reputation for excellent food, cooked personally by the owners Mother and Son; Judy
and Adam Moore. They use organic vegetables from their newly restored walled garden and
free range / rare breed meat from local suppliers. Their fine cuisine regularly includes
locally caught game fish. |
